General Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Scope and contractual parties

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions of Use govern the use of the Wacro platform by customers.

1.2 The platform brokers car-cleaning services between customers and independent providers and does not perform cleaning itself.

1.3 By registering or using the platform, you accept these terms.

2. Role of the platform (broker model)

2.1 The platform acts solely as intermediary. The cleaning contract is concluded directly between customer and provider.

2.2 The platform is not party to the cleaning contract and is not liable for service quality/results to the extent permitted by law.

2.3 Provider details may be checked, but no guarantee is given regarding qualifications, methods, products, care, or insurance.

3. Registration and customer account

3.1 A customer account is required for booking. Information must be truthful, complete, and up to date.

3.2 Login credentials must be kept confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.

3.3 Accounts are non-transferable and available to natural persons aged 18 and older.

4. Booking and contract conclusion

4.1 Service listings are an invitation to submit an offer and not binding offers.

4.2 By completing a booking, you submit a binding offer. The contract is formed upon provider acceptance and confirmation email.

4.3 Scope, process, products, and methods are determined by the respective provider.

5. Prices and payment

5.1 The prices shown during booking apply, including statutory VAT.

5.2 Payments are processed through offered payment methods (e.g., card, PayPal, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay).

5.3 Amounts are authorized at booking and captured after service completion.

5.4 Invoices are delivered electronically and available in the customer account.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

6.1 Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the appointment.

6.2 Late cancellation or no-show may result in a cancellation fee up to 100% of order value.

6.3 Rescheduling is possible up to 4 hours before start, subject to availability.

6.4 If the provider cannot perform due to weather or other reasons, a replacement appointment is arranged free of charge.

7. Right of withdrawal (EU customers)

7.1 EU customers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.

7.2 The withdrawal right may expire for fully performed services if you explicitly consented beforehand.

7.3 For Swiss-resident customers, no statutory withdrawal right applies; section 6 applies.

8. Customer obligations

8.1 The vehicle must be accessible at the agreed place and time.

8.2 Personal valuables must be removed from the vehicle.

8.3 Special vehicle requirements must be communicated in advance.

8.4 Cleaning must be legally permissible at the selected location.

9. Platform liability

9.1 The platform is liable only for intentional or grossly negligent damages within its brokerage activity.

9.2 Claims from the cleaning contract are the sole responsibility of the provider.

9.3 Liability for slight negligence is excluded/limited as permitted by law.

9.4 Limitations do not apply to personal injury or mandatory legal liability.

10. Damages and complaints

10.1 Visible damage must be reported immediately, at the latest within 24 hours.

10.2 The platform may assist mediation but does not assume liability for provider-caused damage.

11. Reviews

11.1 Reviews must be truthful, objective, and lawful.

11.2 Unlawful or abusive reviews may be removed.

12. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable Swiss DSG and, where applicable, EU GDPR requirements.

13. Changes to terms

13.1 Changes apply prospectively and are notified at least 30 days before taking effect.

13.2 If no objection is made within 30 days, changes are deemed accepted.

14. Final provisions

14.1 Invalid provisions do not affect the validity of remaining provisions.

14.2 Swiss law applies excluding CISG; mandatory EU consumer protections remain unaffected.

14.3 Place of jurisdiction is the platform seat in Switzerland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

14.4 EU ODR: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
